The Giveaway & Prizes

On Saturday, April 12th, 2025 Freson Market Ltd will offer customers visiting Freson Bros. Edmonton Glenora store the opportunity to win a $500 Freson Bros. Gift Card. The winner must become a fully enrolled Smart Shopper member on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 or already be a fully enrolled Smart Shopper member and have made a purchase at the Freson Bros. Edmonton Glenora store on Saturday, April 12th, 2025. One winner will be chosen through a random draw from all eligible entries and will be announced on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025.  Contact will be attempted 3 times via the number provided for two days, but should contact not be made by Thursday, April 17th, 2025, another winner shall be chosen. All expenses relating to collecting or using the prize are the winner’s responsibility.

How to Enter

To enter the giveaway, must become a fully enrolled Smart Shopper member on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 or already be a fully enrolled Smart Shopper member and have made a purchase at the Freson Bros. Edmonton Glenora store on Saturday, April 12th, 2025.

Eligibility

1. The giveaway is only open to residents of Alberta who have reached the age of majority (18 and over).

2. The giveaway is not open to individuals who are, or have been, at any time over the duration of the giveaway or the four months preceding, an employee or representative of, or an immediate family member of or person domiciled with an employee of Freson Market Ltd.

3. As well, the giveaway is not open to the judges, those who are domiciled with them or members of their immediate family.

Prize Draws and Related Requirements:

1. The giveaway commences at 7:00 am and ends at 11:00 pm on Saturday, April 12th, 2025.

2. The entrants whose entries are the winners will be notified within 48 hours of the draw.

3. The winning entries will be selected from all eligible entries by Freson Market Ltd.

4. For the purpose of contacting the winners, a contact phone number and email address will be required by all entrants for their entry to be considered complete and valid.

5. Contact will be attempted 3 times via the number connected to the Smart Shopper accounts by Tuesday, April 15th, 2025. Should contact not be made by 9.00am MSD/MDT on Thursday, April 17th, 2025, their prize will be forfeited and another entrant will be drawn.

6. The winners may be required to answer correctly, unaided, a time-limited, skill-testing question.

7. All entrants will be required to be fully enrolled Smart Shopper members.

8. No purchase is necessary. In order to enter the giveaway without purchase, simply email [email protected] and put Edmonton Glenora 1st Birtdhay in the subject line.

9. All other expenses relating to the prize(s) are the winners’ responsibilities.

10. The prize must be collected from the Freson Bros. Edmonton Glenora store at a convenient time agreed upon between the Freson Bros. contact and the winner, within a period of one week.

Other Rules and Requirements:

1. By participating in this contest, contestants agree to be bound by the official rules and regulations of the contest and to provide publicity when required.

2. By participating in this contest, winners agree to allow Freson Market Ltd to announce their names and share their photos on social media platforms and other promotional materials.

3. Contestants may be required to provide reasonable proof that they meet the contest’s requirements.

4. All decisions by the judges relating to this giveaway are final.

5. All entries become the property of Freson Market Ltd and none will be returned.

6. All elements of the prize are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, not for re-sale, and nonrefundable. The prize winner is not entitled to receive any payment for any possible difference between the actual value of the prize and its estimated values. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitution, or transfers of the prizes will be allowed.
