The Giveaway & Prizes

Starting on Friday, February 21, 2025, and ending on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, Freson Market Ltd will offer Social Media users the opportunity to win two (2) $22 event tickets per winner. Two winners will be drawn among all eligible entries for each participating store: Freson Bros. Stony Plain, Freson Bros.Fort Saskatchewan, Freson Bros. Edmonton Rabbit Hill, and Freson Bros. Edmonton Glenora.

To qualify for the giveaway, participants must have followed the Freson Bros. Instagram page for a minimum of 24 hours and commented on the designated Freson Bros. Instagram post regarding the Giveaway. They must also tag another Instagram user whom they wish to accompany them to the Vegan Feast event on March 8 or 9 and include the Freson Bros. location they would like to attend the event at – Stony Plain, Fort Saskatchewan, Rabbit Hill or Glenora. Comments must be posted between Friday, February 21, 2025, and Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Winners will be selected through a random draw on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Attempts will be made to contact the winners via private messaging on Instagram three times. If contact is not established within 6 hours of the draw, alternate winners will be selected. Each winner will receive one (1) ticket for 2 people to attend the Vegan Feast event on March 8 or 9 at the selected Freson Bros. store. Winners are responsible for all expenses related to collecting or utilizing the prize.

How to Enter

To enter the giveaway, you must:

–  have followed the Freson Bros. Instagram page for a minimum of 24 hours and commented on the designated Freson Bros. Instagram post regarding the Giveaway between Friday,  February 21, 2025, and Tuesday, March 4, 2025. 

– must also tag another Instagram user whom they wish to accompany them to the Vegan Feast event on March 8 or 9 and name the Freson Bros. store they would like to attend the event at.

Eligibility

1. The giveaway is only open to residents of Alberta who have reached the age of majority (18 and over).

2. The giveaway is not open to individuals who are, or have been, at any time over the duration of the giveaway or the four months preceding, an employee or representative of, or an immediate family member of or person domiciled with an employee of Freson Market Ltd.

3. As well, the giveaway is not open to the judges, those who are domiciled with them or members of their immediate family.

Prize Draws and Related Requirements:

1. The contest commences on Friday, February 21, 2025, and ends on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

2. The contestants whose entries are the winners will be notified within 6 hours of the draw.

3. The winning entries will be selected from all eligible entries by Freson Market Ltd.

4. For the purpose of contacting the winners, a non-private Instagram account is required by all entrants for their entry to be considered complete and valid.

5. Contact will be attempted 3 times via the relevant social media platform. Should contact not be made within 6 hours, their prize will be forfeited and another entrant will be drawn.

6. The winners may be required to answer correctly, unaided, a time-limited, skill-testing question.

7. All other expenses relating to the prize(s) are the winner’s responsibility.

8. The prize must be collected prior to the event.

Other Rules and Requirements:

1. By participating in this contest, contestants agree to be bound by the official rules and regulations of the contest and to provide publicity when required.

2. By participating in this contest, winners agree to allow Freson Market Ltd to announce their names and share their photos on social media platforms and other promotional materials.

3. Contestants may be required to provide reasonable proof that they meet the contest’s requirements.

4. All decisions by the judges relating to this giveaway are final.

5. All entries become the property of Freson Market Ltd and none will be returned.

6. All elements of the prize are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, not for re-sale, and nonrefundable. The prize winner is not entitled to receive any payment for any possible difference between the actual value of the prize and its estimated values. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitution, or transfers of the prizes will be allowed.
