What is the Freson Bros. Alberta Food Fair?

The Freson Bros. Alberta Food Fair is an event created by Freson Bros. in association with Alberta Food Processors Association, providing opportunities to Alberta processors to share their Alberta products and stories. Over 65% of Alberta processors that attended the inaugural Alberta Food Fair in 2023 became Freson Bros. vendor partners, with their products being included within Freson Bros. stores.

The Event provides Alberta processors with an opportunity to connect directly with Freson Bros.’ decision makers who are interested in pioneering new and innovative local products in their locations. This is your chance to access and learn from industry experts while receiving valuable feedback on your products, company stories and presentations.

Prior to the Event, producers will be provided reading material to aid in their preparation and the chance to enroll in AFPA’s free training “Perfect Your Pitch” through Learnsphere. During the Event there will be three interactive sessions: “How to scale up your business”, brought to you by NAIT, “How to properly market your business” brought to you by Freson Bros., and information from the Leduc Food Processing Development Centre.

Along with presentations and opportunities for industry education, celebration, and networking, producers will have the opportunity to attend a Charcuterie Meet & Greet the evening prior to the Event, with other producers, Freson Bros. decision makers and members of the AFPA team.

Each attending company will receive a 10-foot booth space with a six-foot table where they can present samples of their products in order to develop a relationship, with the possibility of becoming a Freson Bros. vendor partner and being included as part of our Unique Alberta Food Experience.
