How do I enroll?

There are 3 simple ways to join our program:

1. Online on our website. Click here and enter your email address, you will then be prompted to complete a Smart Shopper enrollment form. Don't Forget! Select the location nearest you and you will receive 5000 points just for enrolling. 

2. In-store at your nearest Freson Bros. Visit your local Freson Bros. and you can enroll. To view, our locations click here

3. Download the 'Freson Bros.' app available in IOS and Android store.

Can I merge two accounts together?

Members living in the same household can link their cards together. Visit your nearest Freson Bros. location, or fill out the inquiry form here. Note: Once an account is merged together you cannot unlink these accounts. 

Is there a cost to join the program?

No, there is no cost to joining or enrolling in the Smart Shopper program.

Can you have more than 1 account?

Each account has one primary member, however, there can be up to 3 members per account. 

Can I join as a business?

Corporations, businesses, charities, partnerships, enterprises or organizations can only obtain an account through an individual, who will be deemed the authorized primary member of the organization for purposes of the program.

How can I earn Smart Shopper points?

Base Points - The Smart Shopper Program offers 10 points for every $1.00 spent (exclusions apply) at all Freson Bros. locations

Specific Promotions – sign up for Smart Shopper emails to learn about additional bonus point earning opportunities.
Product Bonus Points - Each week various products throughout Freson Bros. will have additional points earning opportunities. Check the flyer or instore.

What should I do if I'm missing points from a transaction?

Please contact the Freson Bros. loyalty team by emailing loyalty@freson.com or call 1-780-968-6924. Make sure you have your member number, transaction number, and name on the account ready.

How do I see how many points I have?

Once you have registered for your Smart Shopper online account at freson.com, you can check your points balance, cash back balance as well as view your transaction history, update your account and sign up for emails.

Your points earned and cash back balance will always be printed on your receipt of purchase.

If you have the Freson Bros. App you are able to check your account balance and update your account. 

Is there an alternative to presenting the key fob when I shop?

To earn points, you can show your digital Smart Shopper card stored on the Freson Bros. app or provide your phone number at the checkout.

How can I redeem my Smart Shopper cash back?

Once you have earned up to 10,000 Smart Shopper points you will receive $10.00 in cash back that can be used on any eligible products in-store, or you can keep saving, the choice is yours! 

Please note once you have earned 10,000 points these points convert to $10.00 and your points balance will be updated accordingly. 

How can I redeem my Smart Shopper points?

You can redeem your Smart Shopper points on the following staple products:

Dairyland 2L Milk (Skim, 1%, 2%) 3500 points
Medium Eggs 3000 points
Foothills 454g Butter 5000 points
Assorted Alpine 4L Ice Cream 6000 points

Please note you will eligible to redeem your points for the products listed above if your account has the adequate points needed and the proper products chosen.   

Can I donate my points or cashback to charity?

You cannot donate points or cashback to a charity at this moment. Our team will inform all customers when this function of the Smart Shopper program is available.

How do I update my personal information or email preferences?

Create and login to your Smart Shopper program online account here and click on 'My Information' to update your profile and to review your account transactions or update my email preferences. Or visit the customer services desk at your nearest Freson Bros..

Can I transfer my points to someone else?

Points are Transferable from one member to another immediate family member up to 10,000 points. 

How do I report a problem on my Smart Shopper account?
